Data currently processed

Servers and network providers may record IP addresses, access times, requested pages, device or browser types and response status for security, maintenance and troubleshooting. If you email us, we process your address, message and attachments in order to respond.

First-party anonymous analytics

To understand whether the site genuinely helps visitors, Living Hainan operates its own analytics system on Tencent Cloud infrastructure in mainland China. It records the visit date, page path without query parameters, selected language, anonymous city and route views, postcard opens and saves, broad device category and referring website domain. A daily rotating anonymous identifier is used to estimate visitor numbers. Analytics records do not contain full IP addresses, full browser identifiers, postcard text, names or email addresses. Analytics data is not sent to an overseas analytics platform and is not used for advertising profiles or cross-site tracking.

Retention and contact

Raw anonymous events are retained for no more than 90 days. Aggregated figures may be kept for long-term trend reporting. The analytics dashboard is available only to the site owner. To ask about, correct or delete information you have actively provided, contact yingtaow8@gmail.com.

What we do not do

• We do not use advertising or cross-site trackers.
• We do not provide visitor accounts.
• We do not sell personal information.
• We do not record precise location or identify a person in the real world.
